Royse City residents are spending more money – $3,779 more – on most household bills than the national average, according to a recently released report from doxoInsights featured on CNBC.

Per the report, Royse City residents spend an average of $2,361 a month (or $28,332 a year) for the most-common household bills compared to the national average of $2,046. Royse City ranks as the 59th most expensive city in Texas.

In terms of cost of living, Royse City is 15.4% higher than the national average and residents spend 29% of their income of $107,578 on household bills.

According to the doxoInsights report, Royse City residents monthly spend on average $1,575 for a mortgage (or $1,518 for rent), $539 for auto loans, $340 for utilities, $112 for health insurance, $199 for auto insurance, $108 for cable and Internet, $75 for life insurance, $129 for cellular service and $84 for alarm/security.

The national costs for each of those categories was $1,321 for a mortgage (or $1,191 for rent), $467 for auto loans, $278 on utilities, $120 for health insurance, $207 for auto insurance, $118 for cable and Internet, $89 for life insurance, $119 for cellular service and $84 for alarm/security.

The report did not list costs for such expenses as gas, groceries, credit card bills, entertainment or several others.
